Iowa High School Softball - Humboldt bounces Emmetsburg
June 10, 2025: Emmetsburg, IA 50536 The Humboldt Wildcats softball team scored 12 runs and held the host Emmetsburg E'Hawks to 3 in the Wildcats non-league win on Tuesday.
The Wildcats now sport a 3-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Clarion-Goldfield/DOWS for a North Central battle on Wednesday, June 11. Humboldt will confront a team coming off a 18-3 non-league loss to Belmond-Klemme (Belmond, IA). The record now stands at 0-9.
With the loss, Emmetsburg moves to 0-9 on the season. The E'hawks host Southeast Valley (Gowrie, IA) to confront the Jaguars in a Twin Lakes battle on Wednesday, June 11. The Jaguars come into the battle with a record of 6-4. Southeast Valley won 8-0 in their recent league battle against West Bend-Mallard (West Bend, IA)
