Iowa High School Softball - West Bend-Mallard topped by North Iowa
June 10, 2025: Buffalo Center, IA 50424 North Iowa Bison (Buffalo Center, IA) backers left the game pleased Tuesday as they saw their softball squad thwart the visiting West Bend-Mallard Wolverines (West Bend, IA), 20-12 in a non-league game.
With the triumph, North Iowa upgrades its record to 5-4 on the year. The Bison travel to Lake Mills (Lake Mills, IA) to play the Bulldogs in a Top of Iowa-West game on Wednesday, June 11. The Bulldogs enter the game with a record of 1-9. Lake Mills lost 12-10 in their recent league game against North Union (Armstrong, IA)
The Wolverines now own a 1-6 record. They play next when they host South Central Calhoun for a Twin Lakes game on Wednesday, June 11. West Bend-Mallard will play a Titans squad coming off a 17-0 league loss to Northwest Webster (Manson, IA). The Titans record now stands at 0-7.
