June 11, 2025: Brooklyn, IA 52211 The B-G-M Bears baseball team scored 13 runs and held the visiting Colfax-Mingo Tigerhawks to 3 in the Bears league win on Wednesday.
The Bears now own a 7-3 record. They take the field next when they host Danville for a non-league test on Thursday, June 12. B-G-M will clash with a Bears team coming off a 7-0 league loss to Van Buren County (Keosauqua, IA). The Bears record now stands at 0-8.
With the defeat, Colfax-Mingo drops to 1-8 on the year. The Tigerhawks travel to Baxter (Baxter, IA) to clash with the in a non-league test on Thursday, June 12. The go into the test with a record of 7-3. Baxter lost 15-0 in their recent non-league test against Don Bosco (Gilbertville, IA)
