June 11, 2025: Baxter, IA The crowd at Wednesday's non-league battle between the Don Bosco Dons (Gilbertville, IA) and the host Baxter (Baxter, IA), saw Don Bosco's baseball team gain a win over Baxter by a tally of 15-0.
The Dons (12-2) will now prepare for their battle against North Tama (Traer, IA). The Redhawks enter the non-league battle with a 7-4 record. In their last battle, North Tama was overwhelmed by Janesville (Janesville, IA), 11-1, in a non-league battle.
Next, the face the Colfax-Mingo Tigerhawks (Colfax, IA) in a non-league battle, on Thursday, June 12. Baxter will attempt to upgrade on its 7-3 season record. The Tigerhawks enter the battle with a 1-7 record after their 12-0 league loss to Belle Plaine (Belle Plaine, IA).
