June 11, 2025: Bussey, IA 50044 In Wednesday's non-league bout, the Cardinal Comets (Eldon, IA) baseball squad overwhelmed the host Twin Cedars Sabers (Bussey, IA), by a tally of 14-0.
Next up, the Comets encounter the Davis County Mustangs (Bloomfield, IA) in a South Central bout, on Thursday, June 12. Cardinal will attempt to upgrade on its 11-3 season record. The Mustangs enter the bout with a 7-8 record after their 5-1 league win over Eddyville-Blakesburg-Fremont (Eddyville, IA).
The Sabers (3-7) will now prepare for their bout against Seymour (Seymour, IA). The Warriors enter the Bluegrass - East bout with a 2-4 record.
