Iowa High School Softball - B-G-M gets by West Branch
June 12, 2025: Brooklyn, IA 52211 The crowd at Thursday's non-league bout between the B-G-M Bears (Brooklyn, IA) and the visiting West Branch Bears (West Branch, IA), observed B-G-M's softball team get by West Branch by a tally of 6-5.
The Bears (8-3) will now prepare for their bout against Keota (Keota, IA). The Eagles go into the South Iowa Cedar bout with a 3-3 record. In their last bout, Keota tipped English Valleys (North English, IA), 9-0, in a league bout.
In their next game, the Bears clash with the Columbus Wildcats (Columbus Junction, IA) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, June 14. West Branch will attempt to advance on its 3-6 season record. The Wildcats go into the bout with a 5-4 record after their 10-0 league loss to Louisa-Muscatine (Letts, IA).
