Iowa High School Softball - Sigourney bounces Pleasantville
June 13, 2023: Pleasantville, IA 50225 Sigourney Savages (Sigourney, IA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Pleasantville Trojans (Pleasantville, IA), 11-0 in a non-league challenge.
The Savages now own a 6-2 record. They take the field next when they host North Mahaska for a non-league challenge on Wednesday, June 14. Sigourney will battle a Warhawks squad coming off a 17-1 non-league win over Belle Plaine (Belle Plaine, IA). The Warhawks record now stands at 4-0.
With the loss, Pleasantville falls to 1-4 on the campaign. The Trojans travel to Prairie City-Monroe (Monroe, IA) to battle the Mustangs in a non-league challenge on Friday, June 16. The Mustangs enter the challenge with a record of 4-3.
