Iowa High School Baseball - Humboldt nudged by Spirit Lake
June 13, 2024: Spirit Lake, IA 51360 The Spirit Lake Indians nudged the visiting Humboldt Wildcats baseball team by a tally of 5-4 in Thursday's non-league bout.
The Indians now hold a 7-5 record. They take the field next when they host Western Christian for a non-league bout on Friday, June 14. Spirit Lake will face a Wolfpack team coming off a 10-0 non-league loss to Unity Christian (Orange City, IA). The Wolfpack record now stands at 0-8.
Next, the Wildcats face the Algona Bulldogs (Algona, IA) in a North Central bout, on Monday, June 17. Humboldt will attempt to advance on its 12-3 season record. The Bulldogs enter the bout with a 17-4 record after their 7-4 non-league win over Mason City (Mason City, IA).
