Iowa High School Softball - Storm Lake gets by Sioux Central
June 13, 2024: Storm Lake, IA 50588 The Storm Lake Tornadoes nipped the visiting Sioux Central Rebels softball squad by a final score of 4-3 in Thursday's non-league battle.
The Tornadoes (11-2) will now prepare for their battle against Spencer (Spencer, IA). The Tigers go into the Lakes battle with a 3-14 record. In their last battle, Spencer held off Emmetsburg (Emmetsburg, IA), 7-2, in a non-league battle.
The Rebels now possess a 12-4 record. They play next when they host Pocahontas for a non-league battle on Friday, June 14. Sioux Central will confront a Indians squad coming off a 12-9 non-league win over Webster City (Webster City, IA). The Indians record now stands at 8-5.
