June 13, 2025: Ames, IA 50010 The Ames Little Cyclones (Ames, IA) softball routed the visiting Sioux City East Black Raiders (Sioux City, IA), 13-3 in Friday's non-league outing.
The Little Cyclones now sport a 13-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Wahlert for a non-league outing on Friday, June 13. Ames will encounter a Golden Eagles team coming off a 8-0 league win over Dubuque Senior (Dubuque, IA). The Golden Eagles record now stands at 4-0.
With the loss, Sioux City East moves to 7-4 on the season. The Black raiders travel to Ballard (Huxley, IA) to encounter the Bombers in a non-league outing on Friday, June 13.
