Iowa High School Softball - Johnston bounces Davenport West
June 13, 2025: Davenport, IA 52804 The Johnston Dragons softball team scored 9 runs and held the host Davenport West Falcons to 1 in the Dragons non-league win on Friday.
The Dragons now possess a 13-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Assumption for a non-league battle on Saturday, June 14. Johnston will confront a Knights team coming off a 6-3 league loss to Pleasant Valley (Pleasant Valley, IA). The Knights record now stands at 8-6.
With the loss, Davenport West moves to 7-10 on the season. The Falcons host Maquoketa (Maquoketa, IA) to confront the Cardinals in a non-league battle on Saturday, June 14. The Cardinals come into the battle with a record of 6-10. Maquoketa lost 6-4 in their recent non-league battle against Beckman (Dyersville, IA)
