Iowa High School Softball - Highland-Lone Tree bounces Belle Plaine
June 14, 2023: Belle Plaine, IA 52208 Highland-Lone Tree Huskies (Riverside, IA) fans exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Belle Plaine Plainsmen (Belle Plaine, IA), 8-4 in a non-league challenge.
The Huskies now sport a 3-3 record. They take the field next when they host North Mahaska for a non-league challenge on Monday, June 19.
With the loss, Belle Plaine falls to 2-7 on the campaign. The Plainsmen host Sigourney (Sigourney, IA) to face the Savages in a non-league challenge on Friday, June 16. The Savages enter the challenge with a record of 7-2. Sigourney won 10-0 in their recent non-league challenge against North Mahaska (New Sharon, IA)
