Iowa High School Softball - Colfax-Mingo bounces Iowa Valley
June 14, 2023: Marengo, IA 52301 The Colfax-Mingo Tigerhawks routed the host Iowa Valley Tigers softball squad by a final score of 20-2 in Wednesday's non-league battle.
The Tigerhawks (3-3) will now prepare for their battle against Grand View Christian (Des Moines, IA). The Thunder go into the non-league battle with a 1-4 record. In their last bout, Grand View Christian was routed by Perry (Perry, IA), 3-1, in a non-league bout.
The Tigers now possess a 3-7 record. They play next when they travel to Keota for a non-league bout on Friday, June 16. Iowa Valley will confront a Eagles squad coming off a 14-2 non-league loss to Highland-Lone Tree (Riverside, IA). The Eagles record now stands at 0-6.
