June 14, 2024: Manson, IA 50563 Spectators at Friday's non-league battle between the Alta-Aurelia Warriors (Alta, IA) and the host Northwest Webster Cougars (Manson, IA), saw Alta-Aurelia's baseball squad knock off Northwest Webster by a count of 12-6.
Coming up next, the Warriors play the West Bend-Mallard Wolverines (West Bend, IA) in a Twin Lakes battle, on Monday, June 17. Alta-Aurelia will attempt to move on its 10-5 season record. The Wolverines enter the battle with a 4-9 record after their 10-7 league win over Emmetsburg (Emmetsburg, IA).
The Cougars now possess a 1-13 record. They take the field next when they host Greene County for a non-league battle on Tuesday, June 18.
