June 14, 2024: Center Point, IA 52213 The Center Point-Urbana Stormin' Pointers routed the visiting Wilton Beavers softball squad by a final score of 10-3 in Friday's non-league battle.
The Stormin' Pointers (10-10) will now prepare for their battle against Williamsburg (Williamsburg, IA). The Raiders go into the WaMaC-West battle with a 18-4 record. In their last battle, Williamsburg held off Ankeny (Ankeny, IA), 7-5, in a non-league battle.
The Beavers now possess a 10-9 record. They play next when they host Tipton for a non-league battle on Monday, June 17. Wilton will meet a Tigers squad coming off a 17-4 non-league loss to Calamus-Wheatland (Wheatland, IA). The Tigers record now stands at 2-10.
