Iowa High School Softball - Boone drops to Xavier
June 14, 2025: Cedar Rapids, IA 52411 Xavier Saints (Cedar Rapids, IA) supporters left the game thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad topple the visiting Boone Toreadors (Boone, IA), 9-0 in a non-league game.
With the triumph, Xavier improves its record to 21-0 on the year. The Saints host Marion (Marion, IA) to face the Wolves in a non-league game on Saturday, June 14. The Wolves enter the game with a record of 5-10.
The Toreadors now hold a 10-7 record. They play next when they travel to Gilbert for a Raccoon River game on Monday, June 16. Boone will face a Tigers squad coming off a 9-1 non-league win over Grundy Center (Grundy Center, IA). The Tigers record now stands at 9-6.
