June 14, 2025: Keokuk, IA 52632 West Fork Warhawks (Sheffield, IA) supporters left the game pleased Saturday as they saw their softball squad nudge the host Keokuk Chiefs (Keokuk, IA), 5-1 in a non-league game.
With the triumph, West Fork improves its record to 10-2 on the year. The Warhawks travel to Jefferson (Cedar Rapids, IA) to play the Hawks in a non-league game on Saturday, June 14. The Hawks enter the game with a record of 5-7. Jefferson won 13-2 in their recent non-league game against Davenport Central (Davenport, IA)
The Chiefs now hold a 2-13 record. They play next when they travel to Washington for a Southeast game on Monday, June 16. Keokuk will play a Demons squad coming off a 5-4 non-league win over Edgewood-Colesburg (Edgewood, IA). The Demons record now stands at 12-5.
