Minnesota High School Baseball - MACCRAY holds off Bertha-Hewitt/Verndale
June 15, 2022: Bertha, MN 56437 MACCRAY Wolverines (Clara City, MN) fans exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the host Bertha-Hewitt/Verndale Bears (Bertha, MN), 5-1 in a non-league test.
With the win, MACCRAY upgrades its record to 17-8 on the season. The Wolverines host New Ulm Cathedral (New Ulm, MN) to battle the Greyhounds in a non-league test on Wednesday, June 15. The Greyhounds come into the test with a record of 36-6. New Ulm Cathedral lost 5-4 in their recent non-league test against Hayfield (Hayfield, MN)
With the defeat, Bertha-Hewitt/Verndale falls to 7-15 on the season.
