Iowa High School Baseball - Assumption defeats Notre Dame
June 15, 2024: Davenport, IA 52804 Assumption Knights (Davenport, IA) fans exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the visiting Notre Dame Nikes (Burlington, IA), 8-3 in a non-league test.
With the win, Assumption upgrades its record to 12-8 on the season. The Knights travel to Williamsburg (Williamsburg, IA) to battle the Raiders in a non-league test on Saturday, June 15. The Raiders come into the test with a record of 8-11. Williamsburg lost 9-1 in their recent non-league test against Mt. Vernon (Mt. Vernon, IA)
With the defeat, Notre Dame falls to 17-3 on the season. The Nikes host Hillcrest Academy (Kalona, IA) to battle the Ravens in a non-league test on Monday, June 17. The Ravens come into the test with a record of 9-2. Hillcrest Academy won 10-9 in their recent non-league test against Keokuk (Keokuk, IA)
