Iowa High School Softball - Atlantic can't get by Newell-Fonda
June 15, 2024: Newell, IA 50568 The Newell-Fonda Mustangs softball team scored 6 runs and limited the visiting Atlantic Trojans to 5 in the Mustangs non-league triumph on Saturday.
With the triumph, Newell-Fonda moves its record to 17-5 on the year. The Mustangs travel to Southeast Valley (Gowrie, IA) to clash with the Jaguars in a Twin Lakes game on Monday, June 17. The Jaguars come into the game with a record of 12-3. Southeast Valley won 7-2 in their recent league game against Storm Lake St. Mary (Storm Lake, IA)
In their next game, the Trojans clash with the Glenwood Rams (Glenwood, IA) in a non-league game, on Monday, June 17. Atlantic will attempt to move on its 17-11 season record.
