Iowa High School Softball - New Hampton bounces Denver
June 15, 2024: New Hampton, IA 50659 Spectators at Saturday's non-league match between the New Hampton Chickasaws (New Hampton, IA) and the visiting Denver Cyclones (Denver, IA), witnessed New Hampton's softball squad prevail over Denver by a count of 10-0.
The Chickasaws now sport a 6-5 record. They play next when they travel to Decorah-North Winneshiek for a non-league match on Tuesday, June 18. New Hampton will face a Vikings squad coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Crestwood (Cresco, IA). The Vikings record now stands at 5-8.
With the loss, Denver moves to 8-11 on the season. The Cyclones travel to Dike-New Hartford (Dike, IA) to face the Wolverines in a non-league match on Monday, June 17. The Wolverines go into the match with a record of 10-7. Dike-New Hartford lost 7-6 in their recent league match against Hudson (Hudson, IA)
