Iowa High School Softball - Don Bosco bounces Baxter
June 17, 2024: Baxter, IA Don Bosco Dons (Gilbertville, IA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Baxter (Baxter, IA), 8-0 in a non-league challenge.
The Dons now own a 15-4 record. They take the field next when they host BCLUW for a non-league challenge on Wednesday, June 19. Don Bosco will battle a Comets squad coming off a 9-1 non-league loss to South Hardin (Eldora, IA). The Comets record now stands at 10-8.
With the loss, Baxter falls to 0-15 on the campaign. The travel to Clarksville (Clarksville, IA) to battle the Indians in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, June 19. The Indians enter the challenge with a record of 13-7. Clarksville won 5-1 in their recent non-league challenge against Central Springs (Manly, IA)
