Iowa High School Baseball - GMG held off by East Marshall
June 17, 2025: Le Grand, IA 50142 East Marshall Mustangs (Le Grand, IA) fans left the game pleased Tuesday as they observed their baseball squad achieve victory over the visiting GMG Wolverines (Garwin, IA), 2-0 in a non-league match.
With the triumph, East Marshall advances its record to 5-9 on the season. The Mustangs host Hudson (Hudson, IA) to battle the Pirates in a non-league match on Wednesday, June 18. The Pirates come into the match with a record of 0-14. Hudson lost 11-1 in their recent non-league match against North Tama (Traer, IA)
The Wolverines now have a 4-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Don Bosco for a non-league match on Wednesday, June 18. GMG will battle a Dons squad coming off a 20-0 non-league win over Colo-NESCO (Colo, IA). The Dons record now stands at 14-4.
