June 19, 2025: Winterset, IA 50273 The Winterset Huskies triumphed over the visiting Saydel Eagles softball squad by a count of 10-0 in Thursday's non-league challenge.
Next, the Huskies meet the Martensdale-St. Mary's Blue Devils (Martensdale, IA) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, June 20. Winterset will attempt to upgrade on its 16-8 season record. The Blue Devils enter the challenge with a 7-5 record after their 12-3 league win over East Union (Afton, IA).
The Eagles (2-13) will now prepare for their challenge against Perry (Perry, IA). The Bluejays enter the Heart of Iowa challenge with a 3-7 record. In their last challenge, Perry was routed by Madrid (Madrid, IA), 3-2, in a non-league challenge.
