Iowa High School Softball - Denver sneaks past New Hampton
June 19, 2026: Denver, IA 50622 The Denver Cyclones softball team scored 4 runs and held the visiting New Hampton Chickasaws to 3 in the Cyclones non-league win on Friday.
The Cyclones now possess a 14-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Sumner-Fredericksburg for a non-league battle on Friday, June 19. Denver will confront a Cougars team coming off a 17-0 league win over Union (La Porte City, IA). The Cougars record now stands at 12-7.
With the loss, New Hampton moves to 14-9 on the season. The Chickasaws travel to Nashua-Plainfield (Nashua, IA) to confront the Huskies in a non-league battle on Friday, June 19.
