June 2, 2022: Renville, ND 58761 Mohall/Lansford/Sherwood Mavericks (Renville, ND) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Mayville-Portland-Clifford-Galesburg Patriots (Mayville, ND), 4-3 in a non-league challenge.
The Mavericks now own a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Central Cass for a non-league challenge on Friday, June 3. Mohall/Lansford/Sherwood will battle a Squirrels squad coming off a 20-3 non-league win over Des Lacs-Burlington (Des Lacs, ND). The Squirrels record now stands at 2-0.
