Iowa High School Softball - Westwood bounces Boyer Valley
June 2, 2025: Dunlap, IA 51529 The crowd at Monday's non-league bout between the Westwood Rebels (Sloan, IA) and the host Boyer Valley Bulldogs (Dunlap, IA), observed Westwood's softball team get by Boyer Valley by a tally of 9-3.
The Rebels (2-1) will now prepare for their bout against Kingsley-Pierson (Kingsley, IA). The Panthers go into the Western Valley bout with a 2-2 record. In their last bout, Kingsley-Pierson was routed by Maple Valley-Anthon-Oto/Charter Oak-Ute (Mapleton, IA), 9-7, in a league bout.
In their next game, the Bulldogs battle the Fremont-Mills Knights (Tabor, IA) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, June 3. Boyer Valley will attempt to advance on its 0-5 season record. The Knights go into the bout with a 1-2 record after their 7-3 non-league loss to Bedford (Bedford, IA).
