Iowa High School Softball - MOC-Floyd Valley bounces Cherokee Washington
June 20, 2025: Orange City, IA 51041 In Friday's non-league match, the host MOC-Floyd Valley Dutchmen softball team scored a nice 11-1 win over the Cherokee Washington Braves.
With the triumph, MOC-Floyd Valley improves its record to 14-3 on the year. The Dutchmen travel to Sioux Center (Sioux Center, IA) to face the Warriors in a Siouxland contest on Monday, June 23. The Warriors enter the contest with a record of 11-4.
The Braves now hold a 2-11 record. They play next when they travel to Estherville Lincoln Central for a Lakes contest on Monday, June 23. Cherokee Washington will face a Midgets squad coming off a 8-0 non-league loss to Mt. Vernon (Mt. Vernon, IA). The Midgets record now stands at 16-5.
