Iowa High School Softball - Wahlert bounces North Linn
June 20, 2025: Dubuque, IA 52001 In Friday's non-league match, the host Wahlert Golden Eagles softball team scored a tight 7-3 win over the North Linn Lynx.
The Golden Eagles (10-1) will now prepare for their match against Assumption (Davenport, IA). The Knights come into the non-league match with a 10-10 record. In their last match, Assumption nipped Cascade (Cascade, IA), 7-2, in a non-league match.
In their next game, the Lynx battle the Beckman Trailblazers (Dyersville, IA) in a non-league match, on Saturday, June 21. North Linn will attempt to better on its 12-9 season record. The Trailblazers come into the match with a 11-7 record after their 8-7 non-league win over Edgewood-Colesburg (Edgewood, IA).
