June 21, 2025: Clarinda, IA 51632 Clarinda Cardinals (Clarinda, IA) backers left the game pleased Saturday as they saw their softball squad thwart the visiting East Mills (Malvern, IA), 10-0 in a non-league game.
With the triumph, Clarinda upgrades its record to 17-6 on the year. The Cardinals host Denison-Schleswig (Denison, IA) to play the Monarchs in a Hawkeye 10 game on Monday, June 23. The Monarchs enter the game with a record of 6-13. Denison-Schleswig lost 8-4 in their recent non-league game against Pocahontas (Pocahontas, IA)
The now own a 1-14 record. They play next when they travel to Essex for a Corner game on Monday, June 23. East Mills will play a Trojans squad coming off a 12-2 non-league loss to Bedford (Bedford, IA). The Trojans record now stands at 0-12.
