Iowa High School Softball - North Fayette Valley bounces Washington
June 21, 2025: West Union, IA 52175 The North Fayette Valley softball team scored 12 runs and held the visiting Washington Warriors to 2 in the non-league win on Saturday.
The now sport a 12-13 record. They put it on the line next when they host Postville for a Upper Iowa battle on Monday, June 23. North Fayette Valley will encounter a Pirates team coming off a 13-1 league loss to West Central (Maynard, IA). The Pirates record now stands at 0-8.
With the loss, Washington moves to 0-12 on the season. The Warriors travel to Cedar Falls (Cedar Falls, IA) to encounter the Tigers in a non-league battle on Tuesday, June 24. The Tigers come into the battle with a record of 15-6.
