Northwest Wolves (Waukee, IA) fans exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the host Gilbert Tigers (Gilbert, IA), 9-2 in a non-league test.

With the win, Northwest upgrades its record to 9-11 on the season. The Wolves host Ankeny (Ankeny, IA) to battle the Hawks in a non-league test on Monday, June 26. The Hawks come into the test with a record of 16-14. Ankeny won 11-1 in their recent non-league test against Carlisle (Carlisle, IA)
