June 23, 2023: Center Point, IA 52213 Fort Madison Bloodhounds (Fort Madison, IA) fans exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Center Point-Urbana Stormin' Pointers (Center Point, IA), 4-0 in a non-league challenge.
The Bloodhounds now sport a 11-12 record. They take the field next when they travel to Fort Dodge for a non-league challenge on Friday, June 23. Fort Madison will face a Dodgers squad coming off a 7-3 non-league win over Ankeny (Ankeny, IA). The Dodgers record now stands at 19-5.
With the loss, Center Point-Urbana falls to 13-14 on the campaign. The Stormin' pointers travel to Mid-Prairie (Wellman, IA) to face the Golden Hawks in a non-league challenge on Saturday, June 24.
