Iowa High School Softball - Central City bounces MFL MarMac
June 23, 2023: Monona, IA 52159 Central City Wildcats (Central City, IA) fans exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the host MFL MarMac Bulldogs (Monona, IA), 10-1 in a non-league challenge.
The Wildcats now sport a 25-9 record. They take the field next when they host Lisbon for a non-league challenge on Monday, June 26. Central City will face a Lions squad coming off a 12-4 non-league loss to Urbandale (Urbandale, IA). The Lions record now stands at 24-7.
With the loss, MFL MarMac falls to 8-17 on the campaign. The Bulldogs host West Lyon (Inwood, IA) to face the Wildcats in a non-league challenge on Saturday, June 24. The Wildcats enter the challenge with a record of 17-2. West Lyon won 11-1 in their recent non-league challenge against Sioux Center (Sioux Center, IA)
