June 23, 2023: Hudson, IA 50643 The West Liberty Comets (West Liberty, IA) softball routed the host Hudson Pirates (Hudson, IA), 7-1 in Friday's non-league bout.
The Comets (14-9) will now prepare for their bout against Columbus (Waterloo, IA). The Sailors go into the non-league bout with a 21-10 record. In their last bout, Columbus was routed by Wahlert (Dubuque, IA), 9-0, in a non-league bout.
The Pirates now possess a 14-15 record. They play next when they host Janesville for a non-league bout on Saturday, June 24. Hudson will confront a Wildcats squad coming off a 10-0 non-league loss to Columbus (Waterloo, IA). The Wildcats record now stands at 5-11.
