Iowa High School Baseball - Pocahontas loses to Woodbine
June 24, 2023: Woodbine, IA 51579 The Woodbine Tigers baseball team scored 11 runs and limited the visiting Pocahontas Indians to 1 in the Tigers non-league victory on Saturday.
The Tigers (14-5) will now prepare for their match against Tri-Center (Neola, IA). The Trojans go into the non-league match with a 10-8 record. In their last match, Tri-Center was overwhelmed by Woodbury Central (Moville, IA), 19-2, in a non-league match.
The Indians (8-12) will now prepare for their match against Southeast Valley (Gowrie, IA). The Jaguars go into the non-league match with a 4-13 record. In their last match, Southeast Valley was overwhelmed by South Central Calhoun (Lake City, IA), 12-3, in a non-league match.
