Iowa High School Softball - Sigourney bounces Moravia
June 24, 2023: Sigourney, IA 52591 Spectators at Saturday's non-league match between the Sigourney Savages (Sigourney, IA) and the visiting Moravia Mohawks (Moravia, IA), witnessed Sigourney's softball squad prevail over Moravia by a count of 11-0.
The Savages now sport a 17-4 record. They play next when they travel to Iowa Valley for a non-league match on Monday, June 26. Sigourney will meet a Tigers squad coming off a 7-1 non-league loss to English Valleys (North English, IA). The Tigers record now stands at 7-11.
With the loss, Moravia moves to 10-17 on the season. The Mohawks travel to Seymour (Seymour, IA) to meet the Warriors in a non-league match on Monday, June 26. The Warriors go into the match with a record of 11-4. Seymour lost 14-2 in their recent non-league match against West Central Valley (Stuart, IA)
