June 24, 2024: West Burlington, IA 52655 The Lone Tree Lions (Lone Tree, IA) baseball trounced the host West Burlington Falcons (West Burlington, IA), 8-2 in Monday's non-league challenge.
The Lions now own a 5-11 record. They take the field next when they travel to B-G-M for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, June 25. Lone Tree will clash with a Bears team coming off a 13-3 league win over Montezuma (Montezuma, IA). The Bears record now stands at 14-6.
With the defeat, West Burlington drops to 6-11 on the year. The Falcons host Van Buren County (Keosauqua, IA) to clash with the Warriors in a SE IA Super - South challenge on Tuesday, June 25. The Warriors go into the challenge with a record of 7-12. Van Buren County lost 8-1 in their recent non-league challenge against Moravia (Moravia, IA)
