June 24, 2024: Missouri Valley, IA 51555 The crowd at Monday's non-league battle between the Westwood Rebels (Sloan, IA) and the host Missouri Valley Big Reds (Missouri Valley, IA), saw Westwood's baseball team gain a win over Missouri Valley by a tally of 5-1.
The Rebels (5-13) will now prepare for their battle against Lawton-Bronson (Lawton, IA). The Eagles enter the Western Valley battle with a 9-8 record.
Next, the Big Reds face the West Monona Spartans (Onawa, IA) in a non-league battle, on Tuesday, June 25. Missouri Valley will attempt to upgrade on its 8-13 season record. The Spartans enter the battle with a 4-14 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to AHSTW (Avoca, IA).
