Iowa High School Softball - Wapello bounces Danville
June 24, 2024: Danville, IA 52623 In Monday's non-league match, the visiting Wapello Indians softball team scored a nice 15-0 win over the Danville Bears.
The Indians (11-13) will now prepare for their match against Winfield-Mt. Union (Winfield, IA). The Wolves come into the SE IA Super - North match with a 3-16 record. In their last match, Winfield-Mt. Union was routed by Mediapolis (Mediapolis, IA), 16-3, in a non-league match.
In their next game, the Bears battle the Fort Madison Bloodhounds (Fort Madison, IA) in a non-league match, on Wednesday, June 26. Danville will attempt to better on its 3-18 season record. The Bloodhounds come into the match with a 9-14 record after their 9-2 non-league win over Davis County (Bloomfield, IA).
