In Friday's non-league match, the visiting Winterset Huskies softball team scored a tight 7-0 win over the Waukee Warriors.

The Huskies (16-12) will now prepare for their match against North Polk (Alleman, IA). The Comets come into the Raccoon River match with a 17-10 record. In their last match, North Polk nipped Urbandale (Urbandale, IA), 13-8, in a non-league match.
