Iowa High School Softball - Grinnell bounces Southeast Warren
June 27, 2023: Grinnell, IA 50112 Spectators at Tuesday's non-league match between the Grinnell Tigers (Grinnell, IA) and the visiting Southeast Warren Warhawks (Liberty Center, IA), witnessed Grinnell's softball squad tip Southeast Warren by a count of 5-1.
The Tigers now sport a 18-11 record. They play next when they travel to Pella for a non-league match on Wednesday, June 28. Grinnell will face a Dutch squad coming off a 11-1 non-league win over North Mahaska (New Sharon, IA). The Dutch record now stands at 11-17.
With the loss, Southeast Warren moves to 22-5 on the season. The Warhawks host Dowling Catholic (West Des Moines, IA) to face the Maroons in a non-league match on Wednesday, June 28. The Maroons go into the match with a record of 8-16. Dowling Catholic lost 1-0 in their recent non-league match against Southeast Polk (Pleasant Hill, IA)
