June 27, 2024: Buffalo Center, IA 50424 The crowd at Thursday's non-league battle between the Estherville Lincoln Central Midgets (Estherville, IA) and the host North Iowa Bison (Buffalo Center, IA), saw Estherville Lincoln Central's baseball team gain a win over North Iowa by a tally of 7-1.
The Midgets (18-5) will now prepare for their battle against Graettinger-Terril/Ruthven-Ayrshire (Ruthven, IA). The Titans enter the non-league battle with a 2-13 record. In their last battle, Graettinger-Terril/Ruthven-Ayrshire held off South O'Brien (Paullina, IA), 8-4, in a non-league battle.
Next, the Bison face the West Bend-Mallard Wolverines (West Bend, IA) in a non-league battle, on Friday, June 28. North Iowa will attempt to upgrade on its 2-20 season record. The Wolverines enter the battle with a 5-14 record after their 7-3 non-league loss to North Union (Armstrong, IA).
