June 27, 2024: Ackley, IA 50601 The Dike-New Hartford Wolverines triumphed over the host AGWSR Cougars softball squad by a count of 12-0 in Thursday's non-league challenge.
Next, the Wolverines play the Don Bosco Dons (Gilbertville, IA) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, July 1. Dike-New Hartford will attempt to upgrade on its 18-8 season record. The Dons enter the challenge with a 17-8 record after their 10-5 non-league loss to Vinton-Shellsburg (Vinton, IA).
The Cougars (2-26) will now prepare for their challenge against North Butler (Greene, IA). The Bearcats enter the non-league challenge with a 4-18 record. In their last challenge, North Butler was routed by Rockford (Rockford, IA), 13-10, in a league challenge.
