Next up, the Cougars battle the Mt. Vernon Mustangs (Mt. Vernon, IA) in a non-league outing, on Saturday, June 28. Cascade will attempt to advance on its 9-6 season record. The Mustangs come into the outing with a 12-10 record after their 4-3 non-league loss to Benton (Van Horne, IA).
The Golden Hawks (14-10) will now prepare for their outing against Regina (Iowa City, IA). The Regals come into the non-league outing with a 20-3 record.
