June 28, 2023: Truro, IA 50257 The Interstate 35 Roadrunners baseball squad scored 8 runs and restricted the visiting Bedford Bulldogs to 3 in the Roadrunners non-league win on Wednesday.
With the win, Interstate 35 upgrades its record to 15-9 on the season. The Roadrunners host Pleasantville (Pleasantville, IA) to battle the Trojans in a non-league challenge on Thursday, June 29. The Trojans come into the challenge with a record of 26-6. Pleasantville won 13-12 in their recent non-league challenge against Chariton (Chariton, IA)
With the defeat, Bedford falls to 15-7 on the season. The Bulldogs travel to Fremont-Mills (Tabor, IA) to battle the Knights in a non-league challenge on Thursday, June 29. The Knights come into the challenge with a record of 15-5. Fremont-Mills won 11-4 in their recent non-league challenge against East Mills (Malvern, IA)
