June 28, 2025: St. Ansgar, IA 50472 Marquette Defenders (Bellevue, IA) followers left the game satisfied Saturday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the host St. Ansgar Saints (St. Ansgar, IA), 6-0 in a non-league match.
With the triumph, Marquette moves its record to 16-2 on the season. The Defenders host MFL MarMac (Monona, IA) to confront the Bulldogs in a non-league match on Tuesday, July 1. The Bulldogs come into the match with a record of 20-6. MFL MarMac won 6-3 in their recent non-league match against Clayton-Ridge (Guttenburg, IA)
The Saints now possess a 15-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to North Linn for a non-league match on Monday, June 30. St. Ansgar will confront a Lynx squad coming off a 10-4 league win over East Buchanan (Winthrop, IA). The Lynx record now stands at 20-2.
