Iowa High School Softball - AGWSR bounces Dunkerton
June 28, 2025: Ackley, IA 50601 The AGWSR Cougars softball team scored 9 runs and held the visiting Dunkerton Raiders to 4 in the Cougars non-league win on Saturday.
The Cougars now sport a 8-19 record. They put it on the line next when they host East Marshall for a North Iowa Cedar - West battle on Monday, June 30. AGWSR will confront a Mustangs team coming off a 7-6 non-league loss to Jesup (Jesup, IA). The Mustangs record now stands at 20-8.
With the loss, Dunkerton moves to 3-17 on the season. The Raiders host Clarksville (Clarksville, IA) to confront the Indians in a Iowa Star - North battle on Monday, June 30. The Indians come into the battle with a record of 20-3. Clarksville won 8-1 in their recent non-league battle against Rockford (Rockford, IA)
