With the triumph, Charles City improves its record to 12-13 on the year. The Comets host Grundy Center (Grundy Center, IA) to face the Spartans in a non-league contest on Monday, June 30. The Spartans enter the contest with a record of 17-9. Grundy Center lost 3-0 in their recent non-league contest against Pella (Pella, IA)
The Bulldogs now hold a 19-13 record. They play next when they travel to Muscatine for a Mississippi Athletic contest on Monday, June 30. Bettendorf will face a Muskies squad coming off a 5-4 non-league loss to Valley (West Des Moines, IA). The Muskies record now stands at 21-9.
