June 28, 2025: Wheatland, IA 52777 The Calamus-Wheatland Warriors softball team scored 12 runs and held the visiting Riceville Wildcats to 6 in the Warriors non-league win on Saturday.
The Warriors now sport a 15-14 record. They put it on the line next when they host Hudson for a non-league battle on Sunday, June 29. Calamus-Wheatland will confront a Pirates team coming off a 14-9 non-league loss to Calamus-Wheatland (Wheatland, IA). The Pirates record now stands at 14-11.
With the loss, Riceville moves to 18-11 on the season. The Wildcats travel to Rockford (Rockford, IA) to confront the Warriors in a non-league battle on Monday, June 30. The Warriors come into the battle with a record of 7-12. Rockford lost 8-1 in their recent non-league battle against Clarksville (Clarksville, IA)
